Grants of Up to £20,000 to Support Local Climate Action – 17 December 2025

Grants of up to £20,000 are available to not-for-profit organisations to tackle environmental challenges at the local level, supporting community-led projects that help people engage with, care for, and protect nature.  Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund through its National Lottery Awards for All England – Environment programme the funding can be used for a wide range of activities, including creating community gardens, rewilding green spaces, tree planting, outdoor learning, repair and reuse sessions, food-growing initiatives, and energy-saving projects such as solar panel installation. Eligible applicants include charities, voluntary groups, CIOs, CICs, community benefit societies, schools (for community-focused work), and statutory bodies. Applications are open on a rolling basis until 17 December 2025, with at least 16 weeks’ notice required before a project start date.
