Charities, schools, local councils, and community organisations can now apply for match-funded grants of up to £10,000 to support Armed Forces Day events in 2025. The Ministry of Defence has made funding available to cover up to 50% of event costs, with eligible expenses including road closures, decorations, advertising, security, insurance, and communication systems. Events must be held within two weeks of Armed Forces Day on 28 June 2025 and should focus on thanking the Armed Forces community rather than fundraising or recruitment. To apply, organisers must first register their event on the Armed Forces Day website and will receive a link to the grant application upon approval.
