Grants of up to £60,000 over two years are available to registered charities, not-for-profit social enterprises or community interest companies for projects that aim to raise educational outcomes for young carers and young adult carers in the UK.
The funding will help to develop existing projects which provide support around learning and access to education and training for young carers up to the age of 25, including those who have fallen behind due to the impact of Covid-19. This could include adding an education component to existing work or increasing the work currently taking place around education.
The funding is made available by the Triangle Trust 1949 Fund.
Applications can be made between the 30 March 2022 and noon on the 6 May 2022.
