The Edge Foundation has launched a new fund designed to encourage fresh thinking and innovation in education. A total of £300,000 in funding is available for projects which challenge the current education system and are disruptive and innovative in their thinking and approach.
The aim is to enable organisations to create proof of concept of new and innovative approaches to make education relevant and address the need for a broad and balanced curriculum containing both vocational and academic learning.
Schools, colleges and other educational and not-for-profit institutions across the UK can apply for funding of between £20,000 and £100,000 from the Edge Innovation Fund at any time until the end of 2021 or until all funds are exhausted, whichever comes first.
At least 20% match funding is required.
The application form is available on the Edge Foundation website (link below)
