Museums and galleries in the UK can apply for funding for projects that bring art collections closer to people by demonstrating their significance, distinctiveness and power.
Provided by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and administered by the Museums Association, the Collections Fund will award grants of up to £90,000 over two to three years for projects which engage and involve audiences as museums recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Foundation will support around seven to ten projects that take risks or are at an early stage of development and should focus on existing collections.
The deadline for expressions of interest for this funding round is the 26th April 2021.
