Applications are invited to the British Council’s new £110 million Turing Scheme to enable students from the UK to study and work abroad.
The scheme, which is designed to replace the Erasmus+ scheme, will fund 35,000 global exchanges for the 2021-22 academic year, including university study, school exchanges, and industry work placements. Eligible schools, colleges and universities can apply for funding to help cover the cost of administering the programme, whilst students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, will receive grants of up to £490pm for travel and living expenses.
The deadline for applications from universities is 12 noon on the 9th April 2021. The deadline for colleges and school applications is 12 noon on the 7th May 2021.
