£1.28 Million Boost from Tampon Tax Fund to Help End Violence Against Women & Girls (England)

£1.28 million in funding is to be made available to frontline specialist Black, Asian and minority led (BAME) women’s organisations in England delivering projects working to end violence against women and girls who face multiple disadvantages.

Comic Relief has been selected to receive the funding from the Tampon Tax Fund to work with organisations that help BAME women at risk of violence and abuse, especially those who find it harder to access mainstream services. The Fund allocates monies generated from the VAT on sanitary projects to improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged women and girls.

Information on how to apply for this funding will be available on the Comic Relief website as soon as further details have been confirmed.
