Organisations that work directly with tenants have until the 18th November 2018 to apply for funding for projects that strengthen the voice of tenants in the private rented housing sector.
A total of £450,000 is available to fund work that will improve the ability of PRS tenants to have a voice in their personal housing issues or in housing matters in their local area. The Foundation does not set minimum or maximum grant limits but want to support a broad range of projects. It is unlikely that the Foundation will fund a project with a grant of less than £25,000 or more than £250,000. Funded projects can last up to three years.
The funding is being made available by the Nationwide Foundation who are particularly interested in receiving applications from organisations running projects that were set-up by or are delivered by tenants.
To be eligible the applicant organisation must work directly with tenants and are a registered charity or constituted organisation.
