The UFI Charitable Trust (Ufi), which aims to help improve vocational skills in the UK’s workforce, has announced that the next funding round under its VocTech programme is now open for applications.
This is the second of three funding rounds during 2018 and will provide grants of between £150,000 and £300,000 for projects lasting up to 24 months. UFI will be looking for large scale near to market innovations which demonstrate how the use of digital tech can deliver adult vocational learning at significant level.
The funding is available to larger, more established organisations, including charities, trade bodies and existing learning providers and others in the private sector that have large scale, near to market innovations which demonstrate how the use of digital tech can deliver adult vocational learning at significant level.
There is a two-stage application process and the closing date for stage 1 applications is 5pm on 11 July 2018. Stage 1 applicants will be advised in early August 2018 whether they have been successful.
Successful applicants will be invited to proceed to Stage 2 which opens on 14 August 2018 and closes at 5pm on the 7th September 2018.
