JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) which is funded by the UK HE and FE funding bodies to provide world-class leadership in the innovative use of ICT to support education and research, is inviting applications from small educational technology start-ups who need help getting their market-ready EdTech product seen by universities and colleges.
Successful applicants will receive mentorship from Jisc, Emerge Education and a small group of industry experts, to help develop their product and find their market niche. Successful applicants will also have access to up to £10,000 equity funding (subject to terms and conditions (tbc)). To be eligible for support, the product must already exist (beta or minimum viable product acceptable) and be ready for use in an organisation; the product must address learning and teaching needs; and the team must be able to participate in a six-month start-up programme in the UK (from May to November 2018).
The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 22nd January 2018.
