The Government is inviting charities to apply for grants of at least £1 million for projects in the UK that support mental health and wellbeing and tackle violence against women and girls.
The funding is being made available through the Tampon Tax Fund. The Tampon Tax Fund allocates funds generated from the VAT on sanitary products to projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls and at £15 million will be available in this funding round. All grants from this round of funding may be provided for one or two-year projects. All activities must be delivered, and funds must be spent by March 2020.
The deadline for applications closes at midnight on Sunday 28 January 2018 and applications are particularly welcomed from organisations that support women and girls across multiple regions.
