Funding for Projects to Tackle the Causes of Youth Disadvantage – 30th October (Merseyside)

Voluntary and community groups in Merseyside (with priority given to Sefton) have until the 30th October to apply for grants of up to £2,500 for projects that tackle the causes of youth disadvantage and provide information, education and skills to empower young people to go on to further education or employment. The fund will also support projects that improve children and young people’s health.

Examples of the sorts of projects that may be funded include:

  • Equipment for youth clubs
  • Coaching sessions
  • Sports equipment
  • Training for young people
  • Skills development
  • Mentoring projects
  • Sports activities; etc.
