Alcohol Research UK, an independent charity that funds high quality, impartial research to reduce alcohol-related harm, has announced that all of its 2017 UK grants programmes are open for applications.
The 2017 programme will fund projects related to the theme of ‘Treatment and Recovery Today’ through a number of schemes and these are:
- Small Grants of up to £8,000, available for exploratory research projects lasting up to 12 months.
- Research Innovation Grants of up to £60,000, available for larger projects of up to 24 months in duration that meet Alcohol Research UK’s core priorities and have demonstrable potential to influence knowledge, policy or practice.
- Network Development grants of up to £3,000, available for applicants organising conferences or other network events.
- Conference Attendance Grants of up to £300, available to enable researchers to be able to deliver a paper at a conference which is relevant to, or furthers the aims of, Alcohol Research UK’s programme of work.
The deadline for applications to the Small Grants programme is the 13th September 2017.
The application window for Research Innovation Grants opens on the 8th November 2017 and closes on the 16th January 2018.
All other funding schemes can be applied to at any time.
