LIBOR Fund Opens for Applications – 25th August 2017 (UK)

Established with fines collected from banks for rigging the London interbank offered rate, the 2017 LIBOR grant scheme is now open to applications from registered charities, CICs, and Armed Forces units (with a Unit Identification Number).

The total amount available is not stated and there is neither a minimum nor a maximum amount to apply for, however previous grants have ranged from £100,000 to £5 million. The LIBOR fund will support projects that will offer clear and effective support to people and family members from the Armed Forces and Emergency services. Capital projects (including building projects) will need to have 50% matched funding secured.

Projects can last for up to three years, must not start before May 2018 and be completed by the end of March 2021. The deadline for applications is noon, 25th August 2017.
