Jisc, which is a United Kingdom non-departmental public body whose role is to support post-16 and higher education, has announced that its Student Ideas Competition is open for applications.
Grants of up to £3,000 are available for new ideas that use technology to make life better for the UK’s learners, staff and researchers. The competition is open to teams of people working or studying in higher or further education or skills in the UK. Winning teams receive £2000 to attend the design sprint events in August 2016 and develop the idea submitted. A further £3,000 funding could be made available if the idea proves to be viable.
The deadline for submitting ideas is 23rd May 2017.
