Interreg Europe has announced that the next call for proposals will open on the 1st March 2017.
Interreg Europe is a €358 million programme to promote collaborations between regional and local governments across Europe. Its aim is to create an environment and opportunities for sharing solutions to help regional and local governments develop and deliver better policy.
Projects supported through Interreg Europe must fall into one of the following four categories:
- Research and innovation
- SME competitiveness
- Low-carbon economy
- Environment and resource efficiency.
The call will be open for applications from:
- Llocal, regional and national public authorities
- Managing authorities/intermediate bodies – in charge of the Investment for Growth and Jobs programmes or European Territorial Cooperation
- Agencies, research institutes, thematic and non-profit organisations.
The closing date for applications will be the 30th June 2017.
