The British Academy for the Humanities and Sciences has announced that its Small Research Grants programme has re-opened for applications.
Through the Small Research Grants programme grants of up to £10,000 are available over two years to UK research institutions to support primary research in the humanities and social sciences. Funds are available to:
- Facilitate initial project planning and development
- Support the direct costs of research
- Enable the advancement of research through workshops
- Or visits by or to partner scholars.
All applications should demonstrate that Academy funds are sought for a clearly defined, discrete piece of research, which will have an identifiable outcome on completion of the Academy-funded component of the research. The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 12 October 2016.
