The European Commission has issued a call for proposals under the COSME 2016 programme.
The objective of this call is to create and fund a “European Network for Early Warning and for Support to Enterprises and Second Starters” that will develop and implement support services for companies in difficulties and honest bankrupt entrepreneurs vying for a second start. The focus is to establish the networks in countries in which such systems do not exist or are only partly covered. Projects must include:
- Establishing the network and package of advisory and support services
- Identification of companies in distress
- Support activities for these companies and follow-up of their future development.
There is €3.8 million available to fund up to 75% of project costs and only one project is expected to be supported.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 31st May 2016.
