New Competition for Projects to Make Cities More Connected, Efficient and Sustainable (UK)

British Telecom (BT) has launched a new funding competition in which SMEs can receive a lump sum to help them develop their innovative ideas to make Britain’s cities more connected, efficient and sustainable.

The BT Infinity Lab SME Awards 2016: Connected Cities will award £15,000 to the winning project and £7,500 to each category winner (Connected Society and Internet of Things) that makes the finals. The winning applicant will also get six months’ membership at TechHub and the opportunity to work with Milton Keynes Council to turn their Smart City idea into a reality. The category winners will each receive six months of support from BT to help them develop their ideas.

The closing date for entries is Friday 11th March 2016.
