Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Announces its 2011 Strategic Funding Aims (UK) PDF Print E-mail

The UK branch of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation has announced their Strategic Aims for 2011. 

Purpose: The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a charitable foundation based in Portugal and the UK with a special interest in supporting those who are most disadvantaged; in particular with an emphasis on maximising the beneficial impact of the Foundation’s work through encouraging cross-border exchanges of lessons and experiences.  Through the Foundation grants are available to not for profit organisations to support a small number of innovative projects that:
•    help improve people's perception of each other by providing opportunities for interaction through culture and between cultures
•    assist the most disadvantaged in society to fulfil their potential by building connections and developing opportunities
•    help in the development of a society which benefits from a more sustainable relationship with the natural world and understands the value of its resources.

Grant range: Between £10,000 and £25,000
