PRSF promotes activity at the cutting edge of new music, encouraging the development of music in the UK. This is achieved through its own funding schemes and partnerships with other organisations. Since March 2000 it has supported over 2,500 new music initiatives with a total of £9.5 million. Area UK Annual Available Budget £ 1,300,000 Purpose The PRS Foundation for New Music (PRSF) is the UK's largest independent funder purely for new music of any genre. Its main aim is to stimulate and support the creation and performance of new music in the UK, ensuring this reaches a wide audience. The foundation stresses that it funds NEW music. Exclusions The foundation will not offer funding for: How To Apply On an application form available to download from the foundation's website, or by telephoning the foundation. The application forms for each programme also include full guidelines for applicants. Only one scheme per calendar year can be applied for.
