Financial Support for Flood-Damaged Sports Facilities (England-Various)

Emergency flood relief funding is available to community sports clubs and not-for-profit organisations to help them repair flood-damaged facilities. A targeted flood relief option has been added to Sport England’s Return to Play Fund to provide support for local authorities, leisure operators and other not-for-profit organisations from the areas worst affected by recent flooding caused by Storms Christoph and Darcy.

The areas are Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Cheshire, Gloucestershire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Oxfordshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, & Worcestershire

Applications from other areas may be considered, but this will be done on a case-by-case basis.

Small grants of up to £10,000 and large grants of £10,001 or more are available for repairs such as restoring grass and artificial pitches, repairing and decontaminating flooded clubhouses, or to clear blocked drains.

Applications can be made at any time.
